  • Doing What You Love Is Freedom - Loving What You Do Is Happiness and Prosperity

Remind yourself of how important it is to love what you do. I’ve never met anyone that jumps out of bed at the sound of their alarm excited to go to work, but you have to have moments. Not saying that people with this type of attitude doesn't exists any more or at all in this world. As with anything, there will be ups and downs. There will be moments that you could cry from frustration, there will be technical glitches and mistakes made and times of financial stress. If you are a business owner, there will be a million things on your plate at once, and if you are an employee – there will be a boss to tell you all the things you didn’t do right. It’s all part of it. In order to be successful, though, you have to experience those moments that could bring you to (happy) tears. Those moments where you take a deep breath and think “this is why I do this”.

For a teacher, this could be watching the light bulb go off in your students head when they finally understand something. For a doctor or nurse, it could be as big as saving someone’s life, or as small as putting a band aid on a kid so they smile again. For a personal trainer or Counselor, it could be seeing results in the lives of their clients. Everyone has something that makes their hard work worth it at the end of the day.

It could be something as much as hearing the voice on the other end of the phone when you congratulated someone on getting the job they needed or wanted. It’s every time you are able to help someone take a step forward. It truly does not matter whether we’re talking about a six figure salary or $10 an hour. The feeling is the same. Affecting positive change in people’s lives is what every day boils down to – and in moments of chaos it can be easy to forget why we do what we do.

On the next Monday morning when you’re running late, your phone is ringing off the hook, you spill your coffee, lose an opportunity, or don’t close a deal – take a second and remind yourself that it’s all part of life. There will be ups and downs, and your sunny Friday when your coffee is just right and your client is happy and you’re out to work on time – is just around the corner. Remember the moments that make you love your job. As they say, “Doing what you love is freedom. Loving what you do is happiness.”

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions.

Small people always do that, but the great ones make you feel that you, too, can become great. If someone is strong enough to bring you down, show them you’re strong enough to continue to stand tall or get back up again. Let go of them, and surround yourself with those who bring out the best in you.

If you want to achieve greatness, stop asking for permission. Overcome the notion that you must be regular. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary. If you want something, don’t wish for it. LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO WAIT. Whatever you want to do, do it now. For life is time and time is all there is. It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop. Doing what you feel in your heart to be right- for you will be criticized anyway. Where there is LOVE and INSPIRATION, You can never go wrong.

    This life is YOURS.

Your life is your message to the world. Make sure it’s inspiring.

Take the power to choose what you want to do and DO IT WELL.

Take the power to love what you want in life and LOVE IT HONESTLY.

Take the power to control your own life, NO ONE ELSE CAN DO IT FOR YOU.

Take the power to make your life HAPPY.

The happiest people in the world don’t have the best of everything,

they just make the best out of everything they have.

It’s hard to wait around for something you know might never happen,

but it’s even harder to give up when you think it’s everything you’ve ever wanted.

So just don’t give up, for the beginning is always the hardest.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning.

But anyone can start today and make a new ending.

Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could.

Some blunders and absurdities may creep in but forget them as soon as you can.

    Tomorrow is a new day.

You shall begin it serenely and with high spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

This journey has molded you for the greater good.

It was exactly what it needed to be.

So don’t think you have lost time, for it took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to what you have become.

Even if the path is a little blurry, keep walking.

You’ll focus in, when you know what you want.

Then the picture of your life will be crystal clear.

Walk with the DREAMERS, the BELIEVERS, the COURAGEOUS, the ENCOURAGERS, the CHEERFUL, the PLANNERS, the DOERS, the SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE with their heads in the clouds and their feet on the ground.

Let their spirit ignite a fire within you to leave this world better than, when you found it.

There is no telling how many miles you will have to run while chasing a dream.

    Love What You Do

If you love what you do, then it is no longer work. The money you earn is secondary when you love your work. Money can never buy happiness, or peace of mind.

Those who continue to work at a job they hate for the money alone are more likely to be stressed, and very unhappy. They live for their vacations and weekends. Unfortunately, they are sadly missing out on the happiness of everyday life. It is better to receive less money and be happy with what you are doing, than to receive lots of money and hate what you are doing.

"Profit is a by-product of work; happiness is its chief product."

    Henry Ford

When you love your work, you look forward to each day. Your attitude changes from one where you are counting the days to the weekend, to one where you enjoy your weekend, but look forward to your return of work.

Unfortunately, not many people have found this quality. Often, people stay in jobs that they despise rather than taking a risk by changing their work to an area that they love. Sometimes, we fall into the trap of thinking we are secure in our positions, and believe it is better to remain where we are rather than change jobs.
